Unique Pro Mod and unique opportunity. This is a 2000 bodied PM/Advanced ET/Top Sportsman car for sale. It is unique in that from the doors back the body lifts up like a funny car to service the motor between rounds. It was designed and built by Bob Jinkens out of New Jersey and has a swing out steering column and the car will accommodate a large driver. The car was originally run by Jimmy Barker and has less than 50 runs on it--so not old worn out pipe AT ALL.
Here is the deal. My buddy bought the car with the intention of running it. He changed it from a Lenco to a Pro glide and updated the motor and blower package. During that time he was diagnosed with cancer (thus the name "Bad Blood). The car was fired with the new combo, warmed up, and was unfortunately never run at the track. He took some pieces of the fuel system apart to clean things up but then sadly passed before achieving his goal.
About the car. The cert is expired. It needs the small plate added above the drivers head and it will pass with no trouble. I can get it re-certed (6.0 sec) for the buyer as we have the plate fabbed and just need to weld it in. It is a Kobelco 14-71 superman. The motor is a Brad 8 combo from my understanding. It is 470 inches and has been freshened and started but not run at the dragstrip. Racepak, MSD 6 shooter, etc. The rear shocks are Santuff and have not been run since rebuilt. Trans is fresh and so is the 10 in bolt together converter. All of the tin in clean and nice. Passenger side is removable. The Bad Blood logo is a sticker designed by Chuck Buckler. The headlights were airbrushed by Chuck. All the pieces that I have for this car go with it. Not a whole lot of spares but some. The car is slightly apart but really just to flush the alcohol out of it. He just got too weak to come to my shop and put it back together. This car has been 6.25 with Barkers combination which I was told had a weaker smaller blower and was still being dialed in on the clutch side.
The price I have listed is NEGOTIABLE. In a couple of weekends this car could be together in its present state or could be converted to Procharger, turbo, whatever. The motor is set back far enough to add a procharger in my opinion. Come with cash , a reasonable offer, and you will buy it and could be racing in no time.
