S&W Built Altered car works really well. Engine is a 454 bbc stock bore very low maintenance setup...runs 5.70's in the 1/8th.

In very good air it has been 5.58. Trans is an ATI Trans with Transbrake and 1.80 1st gear.

Rear end is 9in Ford with strange aluminum center section with 4.30 pro gear...Strange Axles...

Rear Suspension is ladder bar with Adjustable Coil overs...Cage is 23in wide and 39.5 tall.

Originally built for a driver that is 6' 2' 295lbs...plenty of room..a 23in wide cage on an Altered is equivalent to a 24.5 inch in a dragster.
